October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and James River Equipment is partnering with Susan G. Komen to raise awareness and funds to save lives. Every 14 seconds, somewhere in the world, a case of breast cancer is diagnosed - a sobering statistic. Nearly everyone we know has been impacted or know someone impacted by this terrible disease.
We are asking for your help in our We Dig Pink campaign to raise $25,000 or more for Susan G. Komen this October.
Komen is the world's largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside of the federal government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.

In support of We Dig Pink, we will also have "Pink Out" Fridays in October for our employees. We will be giving all James River employees a We Dig Pink t-shirt, and they can show their support for our We Dig Pink campaign by wearing their pink shirts to work on Fridays.
