Turn Tailings into Profit

As natural aggregate becomes more scarce, demand for manufactured sand is growing around the world. As a result, producers want new ways to improve their fines management so they can recover the most capital from their crusher dust

Recovering these fines is best accomplished within or near the crushing circuit. Historically, that means using existing technology like feeding sand screws with dry material or creating homemade spray systems, which waste a lot of water. Alternatively, the material is trucked to a separate wash site and losing value all along the expensive journey.

The Alliance Low Water Washer combines a specially-designed agitator and a dewatering screen. Accepting a dry feed, it allows the operation to wash crusher dust right next to the crushing circuit and processes the material into a higher-value manufactured sand.
