James River Equipment Relocates Asheville Operations to New Mills River Facility

Expanded location provides increased capacity, improved parts availability, and enhanced customer support for Western North Carolina

MILLS RIVER, N.C. — James River Equipment has relocated its Asheville-area operations to a new facility in Mills River, North Carolina, reinforcing the company's long-term commitment to supporting construction, forestry, agriculture, and land management customers throughout Western North Carolina.

Effective July 17, the dealership transitioned from its former location at 101 Bruce Road in Asheville to its new facility at 675 Fanning Fields Road, Mills River, NC 28759.

The move comes as James River Equipment continues to invest in its service capabilities and customer support infrastructure across the region. According to company information, the new Mills River facility significantly expands the company's operational footprint and is designed to improve service efficiency, parts availability, and support for larger equipment. The facility offers approximately 2.5 times the space of the previous location, increased crane and lifting capacity, expanded service capabilities for larger construction and forestry equipment, and dedicated bulk parts storage.

"Our Asheville operation has continued to grow, and this new facility positions us to better serve our customers both today and in the future," said a James River Equipment spokesperson. "The additional space and enhanced capabilities will help us provide a better overall experience while supporting the increasing demands of contractors, farmers, and landowners across Western North Carolina."

The new location is expected to improve turnaround times by allowing the dealership to stock more inventory locally and expand service capacity for customer equipment. Company materials note that the investment is intended to reduce wait times for parts, improve service efficiency, and support continued growth in equipment size and complexity throughout the region.
