Technology PackagesTechnology Packages
Overview

Package Levels deliver cutting edge technology and smart solutions designed to maximize productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance operator confidence. From basic connectivity to advanced grade control, these packages provide scalable options that fit your business needs and help you achieve superior jobsite efficiency.

Benefits
  • Improved Machine Connectivity: With JDLink™ and remote display access, customers can monitor machine health, track performance, and manage fleets from anywhere, reducing unexpected downtime.
  • Enhanced Jobsite Safety: Features like Machine Damage Avoidance and Virtual Fences help prevent costly accidents and protect both equipment and personnel.
  • Precision and Productivity: SmartGrade™ and Deere 2D Grade Control deliver accurate grading and earthmoving, reducing rework and saving time on every project.
  • Optimized Load Management: SmartWeigh™ ensures precise payload measurement, improving efficiency and profitability by reducing guesswork and overloading risks.
  • Future Ready Technology: Additional features like Advanced Vision Systems, Object Detection, and Tilt Rotator Integration prepare your machines for evolving jobsite demands.

When you select Level 2, the base machine comes equipped with everything included in Level 1 plus advanced features, everything except 3D grade control. This means you get enhanced connectivity, safety, and productivity tools right out of the box. Additionally, Level 2 offers the flexibility to upgrade to a 4-camera system for even greater visibility and operator confidence.

Important: Choosing Level 2 now saves you significant costs later. While upgrading from Level 2 to add 3D capabilities is an investment, it’s far less expensive than starting with Level 1 and trying to add all those advanced features later. Level 2 sets you up for future growth without breaking the bank.

ConnectivityConnectivity
Overview

Connectivity transforms how customers manage their machines by providing real-time insights, remote diagnostics, and data-driven decision making. It ensures maximum uptime, operational efficiency, and cost savings through advanced telematics and remote support capabilities.

Benefits
  • Real-Time Machine Monitoring: Stay informed with instant access to machine health and performance data, reducing downtime, and improving productivity.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Leverage telematics to anticipate service needs, preventing costly breakdowns and extending machine life.
  • Fleet Optimization: Track usage, fuel consumption, and idle time to make smarter decisions that lower operating costs and boost efficiency.
  • Remote Support: Resolve issues faster with remote diagnostics and software updates, minimizing service visits and machine downtime.

With John Deere Connectivity, customers gain more than technology, they gain confidence. Immediate support, streamlined workflows, and optimized machine performance mean less downtime, lower costs, and higher productivity on every job site.

Hy-Gard FlexHy-Gard Flex

The new Deere designed excavators will use a new, zinc based hydraulic oil that differs from previous Deere excavators that use zinc free hydraulic oil. It is important to service the machine for top offs or service intervals with the appropriate hydraulic oil that the machine was manufactured with.

Benefits
  • Lower total cost of ownership: extended drain intervals with up to 6,000 hours on select excavator models with regular oil sampling.
  • Fluorescent dye: Evey drop of HY-GARD FLEX (factory fill AND service oil) contains fluorescent dye for easy leak detection.
  • Proprietary formula: Built on 40+ years of John Deere expertise, with a unique blend of additives and base oils designed and optimized for John Deere equipment.
  • Designed and optimized for John Deere equipment. Exceeds the minimum requirements of the JDM J40A specification.
