The Spirit Sand Plant — a packaged combination of cyclones, dewatering screens, sumps and pumps — certainly looks different than a sand screw, but its purpose is very similar: fine material washing and classifying. It’s the application that ultimately drives your capital investment.
For example, cyclones continue to produce through variations in feed without much human intervention. Whereas changes in silt content and water capacity usually require adjustments for efficient sand screw operation.
Additionally, a Spirit Sand Plant occupies a much smaller footprint if real estate is a premium.
By analyzing all the parameters of the application, Spirit Sand Plants are fine-tuned for precise processing needs. The plant features bolt-together, pre-plumbed pipes and pre-installed wiring components for faster installation.
