Job Details:

James River Equipment is currently seeking an entry level mower set up technician for our Rock Hill location. Job Responsibilities:

Performs basic/complex diagnostics on lawn and garden small engine equipment to determine what repairs are needed

Performs basic/complex repairs as requested by service manager

Operates vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes

Assemble machinery components and to follow manufacturer’s pre-delivery

Participates in training that is provided for career development

Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products

Manages condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment

Job Requirements:

High School degree or equivalent experience

One year of relevant experience preferred but not required

Ability to understand electrical & hydraulic theory of operation and diagnostics

Experience with compact utility tractors or agricultural tractors a plus

Clean driving record, ability to lift 75 lbs., climb up and down equipment as needed

Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and possible holidays
