The history of James River Equipment dates back to 1926 when Rudolph Romer opened his first John Deere Dealership in Holly, Colorado.  In 1977, the Romers made the decision to expand eastward and purchased four construction and forestry dealerships in Virginia which were combined to form James River Equipment.  Since 2001, James River Equipment has added on average one new location and one new partner per year.  The mission of James River Equipment is to provide values to our customers, do it profitably and ethically, do it for the long term and have fun while doing it!  Integrity, loyalty and honesty are at the heart of every James River Equipment business.

James River Equipment is currently seeking a qualified Service Advisor Lead for our Charlotte location. Job Responsibilities:

Oversees aspects of the Charlotte service department

Assists in creating marketing programs to generate service business

Maintains an acceptable level of profitability in the service department

Manages the customer experience & motivates employees

Schedules & coordinates service jobs

Assigns jobs to techs & helps them problem solve

Help techs with parts look up

Reviews and closes work cards

Job Requirements:

1-2 years of prior management experience

Good written and verbal communication skills

Organized, highly motivated and experience working in team atmosphere

Solid computer experience and comfortable in a fast paced environment

Excellent people skills and customer service experience

Previous leadership training desired
