The history of James River Equipment dates back to 1926 when Rudolph Romer opened his first John Deere Dealership in Holly, Colorado. In 1977, the Romers made the decision to expand eastward and purchased four construction and forestry dealerships in Virginia which were combined to form James River Equipment. Since 2001, James River Equipment has added on average one new location and one new partner per year. James River Equipment is currently seeking a qualified Service Writer for our Raleigh location. Prepares repair orders and enters them into service database system
Maintains customer relationship by explaining estimates and time for turn around
Ability to juggle multiple requests at one time and provide excellent customer service
Ensures that required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards
Responds to customers in a timely manner
High School Diploma or GED required
1-2 years of experience working in a service writer role
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
