James River Equipment is currently seeking an experienced Agriculture Equipment Technician for our Shelby and Monroe locations. Job Responsibilities:
Performs basic/complex diagnostics on agricultural / small engine equipment to determine repairs
Conducts basic/complex repairs on agricultural equipment as requested by the service manager
Operates vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set up processes
Assembles machinery components
Participates in all job related training and development
Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience performing service repairs
Desired 1-3 years’ experience in the set up and repair/diagnostic of agricultural equipment
Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the set up and repair of equipment
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and can climb up and down on equipment as needed
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid drivers’ license, clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screening test
Ability to work on nights, weekends and holidays
