The history of James River Equipment dates back to 1926 when Rudolph Romer opened his first John Deere Dealership in Holly, Colorado. In 1977, the Romers made the decision to expand eastward and purchased four construction and forestry dealerships in Virginia which were combined to form James River Equipment. Since 2001, James River Equipment has added on average one new location and one new partner per year. James River Equipment is currently seeking a Parts Warehouse Representative for our Wilmington location. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to standards
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
Prepares parcels for mailings
Wears the proper safety equipment and keeps the work environment safe and clean
Assists shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking merchandise
Assist on parts counter as needed
High School degree or equivalent experience
One year of relevant experience preferred
Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
Potential of this role to grow into other opportunities so looking for a fast learner & self-starter
Strong customer service and communication skills
