We are currently seeking to hire a Service Writer/Advisor for our Chester, VA location. We off an Excellent Pay and Benefits package including Monthly Incentive Bonuses. Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Long Term Disability, Flex Spending, AFLAC, 401k Match and Profit Share. 

Acting as the primary point-of-contact for all equipment service and repair matters, the Service Writer must listen and thoroughly understand the customer's problems in order to arrange the appropriate service level and to set and manage expectations on the part of the customer and the technicians in terms of service delivery. Will work closely with Ag equipment mechanics and customers, open and close work orders, schedule service work, create invoices, and address customer concerns.    Must have ability to follow up and meet expectations of customer either by phone, email and text.  Must be a great listener.

  • Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner.

  • Written Communication and Time Management skills required

  • Schedules service for customers either in person or on the phone to ensure a prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems

  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.

  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures

  • Accepts accountability for service delivered to our valuable customers

  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions

  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred

  • One year of relevant experience helpful

  • Excellent customer service focus

  • High school diploma or GED required; some post-high school education or training preferred.
